Sara Jacobelli grew up in the factory town of Bridgeport, CT, but has lived in New Orleans for many years. She has worked various jobs including dishwasher, bus girl, waitress, bartender, print shop/bindery worker, tutor, special education teacher, and newspaper reporter. She currently works in a library and writes both fiction and nonfiction.
