Jane Deans

Jane Deans gave up teaching a couple of years ago and began writing in earnest, a year later becoming part of an enthusiastic local writers group, then leading it. Since then she’s had stories shortlisted on The Word Hut, Paragraph Planet and in the Christchurch Literary Festival. She is currently engaged in submitting her first novel, ‘Smoke Screen’, to agents and her second novel, ‘Driving Out Solomon’ is underway.
